In September, the added value of chemical raw materials and products increased by 13.4


According to data released by the National Bureau of Statistics on October 18, in September, the added value of industries above designated size increased by 4.5 percent in real terms year-on-year and 0.36 percent month-on-month. Among them, the oil and gas extraction industry increased by 3.4, and the chemical raw materials and chemical products manufacturing industry increased by 13.4.

In three major categories, in September, the value added of the mining industry increased by 1.5 percent year-on-year, the manufacturing industry increased by 5.0 percent, and the electricity, heat, gas and water production and supply industries increased by 3.5 percent.

In terms of economic types, in September, the added value of state-controlled enterprises increased by 5.9 percent year-on-year; joint-stock enterprises increased by 5.6 percent, foreign and Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan-invested enterprises increased by 0.4 percent; and private enterprises increased by 3.3 percent.

In terms of industries, in September, 26 of the 41 major industries maintained year-on-year growth in added value. Among them, coal mining and washing industry increased by 1.4, oil and natural gas mining industry increased by 3.4, agricultural and sideline food processing industry increased by 1.2, wine, beverage and refined tea manufacturing industry increased by 2.7, textile industry increased by 0.8, chemical raw materials and chemical products manufacturing industry increased by 13.4, non-metallic mineral products industry decreased by 1.7, ferrous metal smelting and rolling processing industry increased by 9.9, non-ferrous metal smelting and rolling processing industry increased by 8.4, the general equipment manufacturing industry was flat year-on-year, the special equipment manufacturing industry increased by 1.6, the automobile manufacturing industry increased by 9.0, the railway, shipbuilding, aerospace and other transportation equipment manufacturing industry increased by 2.6, the electrical machinery and equipment manufacturing industry increased by 11.5, the computer, Communications and other electronic equipment manufacturing industry increased by 4.5, and the power and heat production and supply industry increased by 4.6.

In terms of products, in September, the output of 337 out of 620 products increased year on year. Steel 117.82 million tons, up 5.5 percent year-on-year; cement 188.87 million tons, down 7.2 percent; ten non-ferrous metals 6.42 million tons, up 7.3 percent; ethylene 2.64 million tons, up 5.7 percent; 2.833 million cars, up 3.4 percent, including 847000 new energy vehicles, up 12.5 percent; power generation 745.6 billion kWh, up 7.7 percent; crude oil processing 63.62 million tons, up 12.0 percent.

In September, the product sales rate of industrial enterprises was 97.4 percent, down 0.4 percentage points from the same period last year; the export delivery value of industrial enterprises was 1368.3 billion billion yuan, down 3.6 percent in nominal terms from the same period last year.

From January to September, the added value of industries above designated size increased by 4.0 year-on-year. Among them, the oil and gas extraction industry increased by 4.3, and the chemical raw materials and chemical products manufacturing industry increased by 9.2.
